How do I fix a black screen on my laptop?

If your screen goes black, try restoring it by holding the Fn key and pressing one of the following function keys: F4, F5, or F8.
Most Getac and other rugged laptops use Fn + F4, Fn + F5, or Fn + F8 to switch between display modes.
