What is your cancellation policy?

Orders can only be canceled prior to shipment. Please note that we dispatch orders within 24 hours of purchase.

Please email our team with your cancellation request as soon as possible at support@ruggedbooks.com.

Orders canceled after placement will incur a 5% cancellation fee based on the total order value. This fee covers the processing costs, as we begin preparing the unit immediately after the order is confirmed.

Where do you ship from?

Rugged Books Inc ships all it's products from our warehouse directly to our customers from Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.

Do you charge tax on products you sell outside Canada?

Accepted Answer

Products sold in Canada and shipped elsewhere are not subject to TAX. However, border customs may or may not charge Tax. Freight company (UPS/DHL) may charge brokerage fees.

What's your return policy?

Accepted Answer

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your order. Which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@ruggedbooks.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You are responsible for the following:

Paying restocking fees of 15% to 20%.
Customs & import fees
Shipping fees

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes, we do offer expedited shipping for United States and Canada.

Please keep in mind that the order processing can take up to 24 hours.

Do you ship worldwide?

We do ship to most countries, however, there are a few that we are unable to send to.

Please note that international shipments can take 7 to 21 days.
